Audiophile: A Steamy & Healing Romance by Emerie Hart, Emerie Hart

4.0

This is a special, quiet book about two people weighed down by different, deep traumas who find each other when they absolutely were not looking.

They find safety in each other, and with clear communication, trust and grace help one another heal.

There’s love, friendship, family, erotica, humor, charm and so much respect given to pain and processing as well as intimacy and boundaries.

You expect something dramatic will come to a head—and it does—but I appreciated not being completely surprised by it due to the gentle heads-up hints we got along the way.

The author held the main characters in safe hands, and you could feel yourself wanting to protect them, too, as you rooted for their love story to result in a HEA.

It’s a judgement-free zone for their choices and their pleasures.

All that being said, please take the time to read the content and trigger warnings before diving in to ensure it is a safe space for you to visit when you’re ready.
