I really enjoyed The Maze Runner so I was really looking forward to this sequel, and OH BOY it didn't disappoint!!
The Maze Runner started off a bit slow for me, I was a little bit bored at the start of the book, but The Scorch Trials is exciting from the very first page!
There is danger, excitement, attacks and conflict over every page! Thomas and the rest of our protagonists are tested in every way imaginable by the dreaded WICKED, just when you think things might have a happy ending for them something else knocks them straight on their face.
The book ended in such a cliffhanger that it was all I could do not to start the third book immediately after!! But I want to keep myself in suspense for a little while, and I don't want the trilogy to be over too soon so I'm spacing the books out.
