Interesting novella, but ultimately predictable "twist" at the end for sci-fi readers. Lots of fascinating ideas for fans of space fiction to chew on, but at the same time not really properly developed and a lot of things don't quite make sense if you think about them too hard. But the author was definitely going more for a vibe and metaphor, than a hard sci-fi look at space and time travel. Enjoyable read but not remarkable.
