You can see the difference between the first book and this as Naomi does show the relationship between the characters El and Orion. She also goes in depth into El’s friendships which I really appreciated. We also got to see how alliances blended into friendship which I loved. But the ending? I kind of anticipated that but it’s definitely not written in stone what actually happened so I can’t wait for book 3.
