Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson

5.0

"Maybe I don't have to be good, or other people's versions of good. And maybe I don't have to be likable."

I liked the first book but had some pacing issues - but this one had none of that. It felt more mature and the plot itself felt tighter. I had liked how the first book went back and forth between suspects, but now I almost like this second book’s format better. There’s no suspect list, so I didn’t feel like I was constantly being told who to suspect, and the investigation itself felt more refined.

This book also begins Pip’s spiral into…something darker, so I can’t wait to see where the final book lands her!
