The worst book I’ve ever read and a reason for my 2 year reading break. Obviously, it is a story revolving around slavery, colonial mindset and all those things but I was intrigued on seeing how Crusoe actually met Friday and did they become friends on the deserted island since he has no one else to talk to.
Big mistake
The 3/4 of the books go by without him even meeting him. Most of the book is just telling his life story and then whining about being in the island, whining to God, talking abour God and talking about his survival tips.

When he actually meets Friday he saves him from being eaten by his rivals and he immediately sees him as a master. 💀

The biggest waste of my time there ever was.
