“Alone. Yes, that’s the key word, the most awful word in the English tongue. Murder doesn’t hold a candle to it and hell is only a poor synonym…”

Now this was beautiful writing. Wonderful character plots and everything was just tied together beautifully. I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing book. No literally – I have nothing bad to say about this book. It kept me on my feet wondering what would happen next – from start to finish I had an amazing time. You can quote me saying this because this is now one of my new favorite books. My path to reading Stephen King books started off really rocky at first but now I would like to say that I have grown to rather enjoy his books so I am excited to read more of his works.

“The town kept its secrets, and the Marsten House brooded over it like a ruined king.”

ALSO…

But if Ann Norton has zero haters then guys I have officially perished! She was so freaking controlling and so miserable. She lived a miserable life straight to the very dang end!

OKAY…

The End.
