I suddenly decided to pick up a Japanese literature backlist since that Facebook group about Japanese lit keeps on showing in my feed.

The Woman in the Purple Skirt is a quick read and it definitely has that Japanese lit vibe that is synonymous to listening to lofi music. I was intrigued about the voice of the main character but I believe the ending could have been more realistic.
