Letters to the Lost by Brigid Kemmerer
Did not finish book. Stopped at 21%.
5.0
Readability: 5/5
Plot: 5/5
Recommend: Yes
Juliet's been writing letters to her mother for years, and even after her death, she continues. She knows her mother will never reply, but when a mysterious stranger writes back to her, Juliet finds herself opening up to a stranger.
The moment I heard a booktuber mention the plot of this book, I knew I had to read this book. And I am so glad I did. This book is so good.
I could've read this book in one sitting, but I had to make breakfast (damn my human body for needing sustenance). This book was so enjoyable to finish and I really liked the writing style (emails and multiple perspectives).
The idea of two semi-strangers talking to each other isn't original, but I personally didn't see any flaws that would make the plot rating a 4. The relationship between Declan and Juliet was incredibly enjoyable and I really liked their dynamic.
I know there is a second/companion book that focuses on Rev, and since I know Declan and Juliet are going to be in the book, I will probably read the next book pretty soon.
