this was different to any of hoovers other writing styles in my personal opinion. It goes through the different perspectives of mother and daughter through pain, love and general teenage angst. I really enjoyed this book, the end was emotional and it was a refreshing read that didn’t follow the same cliché CoHo always bases her plots around
