One of the best books I've ever read. I thought I knew a lot about the Holocaust, but learned so much more. Incredible the way she wrote a fictional novel but included so much fact and so many real people, I spent a lot of time looking these people up and learning even more. Beautiful writing, almost stream of consciousness at times. Brilliant.
