On Wings of the Morning by Marie Bostwick

4.0

I enjoyed this book way more than I expected to (despite a handful of grammatical errors that took me right out of the narrative flow.) The vivid descriptions of the freedom of flying were so charming and the tension between the characters, while flawed, was still relatively believable. Bostwick's description of faith resonated especially with mw: "he came to believe that everything, the good and the bad together, was part of the same majestic, ultimately liberating landscape, even if we didn't have the heart or perspective to recognize it from inside thele envelope of grief."
