oh my freak i’m actually obsessed with this book. this quote honestly might be my favorite brandon sanderson book… or at the very least tied with mistborn. i could not put this down. so obsessed. this should be the standard for romantasy im such a critic of the genre because i feel like romantasy puts too much emphasis on romance and never enough on the fantasy which just leaves it feeling overall lackluster, but not this. this has such an interesting (and albeit confusing) world and such a fun plot but at the same time focuses sooo much on the development of the relationship as well as their own personal growth. i love. easy 5 stars. also the illustrations were GORGEOUS. more illustrations in books pls + thanks
