Read this book for research for a film script I’m working on and it was super super helpful and so interesting if you’re familiar with the Keweenaw area. The authors dialogue was a bit amateur but I found it endearing and I’m still giving it 5 stars because it’s supposed to be research and an account of what happened rather than a fictionalized story so I know dialogue and telling a factual account in a story format is difficult but I think the author did a good job.
