The Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson
5.0
Well, this book beat me. I had it checked out from the library, 3-week limit, and I didn't quite get through it before it was due back (admittedly, I also had an audiobook going at the same time and that did cut into my "reading" time somewhat). Luckily, I had a copy on a friend's nook so I could finish the story there. I do love the Kindle however, to look back on my highlights and quotes, and there are always a lot in a book like this.
This was another solid entry into the mistborn saga. I had wondered a bit where the story would go after book one ended with the death of the Lord Ruler (which was the main storyline of book 1) but the story and characters continued. It was a bit depressing, as war and killing and suffering continue, but a completely captivating read. I'll be continuing on with the series.
