I appreciate when a writer can recognize blind spots in their knowledge and need to listen to communities to further understand their struggle. This book was on my radar but following the atrocious antagonistic interview on CBS morning where the interview stated without Coates name, the publisher or cover that this book would be extremist propaganda and implied that Coates was antisemitic for bringing the plight of Palestinians to the forefront I decided to prioritize this read.
