Wicked Sexy Liar by Christina Lauren

5.0

After reading the first three books in this series, I wasn’t sure what the fourth one would be about, since the first three were give ins (since the three friends all fell down the same path during the beginning of book one). That said, this one turned out to be my favorite. I loved London, whom I met during an earlier book as Lola’s roommate. But I also love how Christina Lauren managed to give Luke a bigger backstory than just the backstabbing jerk who ditched Mia after her car accident and broke up with her after nine years together because she just wasn’t the same person he fell in love with. I spent most of the series hating him, and for Christina Lauren to give him more of a story – to show his side, to show that every person has their faults but it doesn’t make them a bad person? Wow. Well done.

Luke and London have instant chemistry. But more than this, they also can’t seem to stay away from each other. Luke seems to be known for flings, which is something that gets between them a lot, but there’s still nothing that compares to how he describes his feelings when he looks at London. Even I was smitten. This was a great ending to the series – I highly recommend it.
