This is a beautiful, poignant story of survival against the odds. It’s harsh but at the same time beautiful, moving, intriguing and, yes, heartbreaking, but uplifting too. If there were ten stars, I’d give them. It’s probably the best book I’ve ever read. No wonder the reviews and sales have been amazing. If I could write something like Delia has, I’d be an ecstatic writer. Her author voice is unique and masterful. This book is - wow! I will remember this book always.
