this was the perfect romcom to get me out of my depression reading slump
the romance is defo insta love-y but in a lowkey realistic lesbian way more so than an annoying way, epically since the MCs were aware they were being stereotypes (there were some internal monologue u-haul jokes)
the cosy murder-mystery aspect was honestly a fun addition (even though i kept forgetting about it & the suspect was p obvious) & i loved the ghost ex gf
however, i agree that the sex scenes just kind kind of rushed & just off ??? just not my vibe at all.
about audiobook narration: i HATE that the men had a separate narrator it just didn’t work especially as it sounded like each narrator had different recoding systems? & in jordan’s chapters harlow’s dialogue sounded super crackly and staticky
