What a fantastic read! Set in the French Quarter of New Orleans, the perfect atmosphere for this kind of story. Witchcraft, a voodoo priestess, and that all around spooky ritual feel. Pulls you right in and holds you tight for the entire ride.

On her 21st birthday, Zèolie wakes to her worst nightmare. She has this disembodied voice in her head and is on the verge of losing her mind. She's taken to a convent for her own protection and to find out what's happening to her. She learns that her mother was a witch who is now haunting her and Zèolie makes it her mission to stop this madness before anyone else suffers.

Very atmospheric! I love stories set in New Orleans and this one was top notch!
