This one specifically gets a higher rating than all of the other books I’ve read by these authors & it’s due to the fostering & adoption. Adoption is near & dear to my heart & it’s been hard to find it in fiction. These authors did a fantastic job of weaving the story of little John in with the settling of the new team & their dynamics.
