Do I recommend this book: 👍
Titus, an ex-FBI agent turned small-town sheriff, is on the trail of a chilling serial killer. Set in the southern United States, the story dives deep into themes of racism and religion, which might not resonate with everyone. Personally, I struggled to connect, possibly because I’m not from the U.S., and the cultural focus felt a bit distant.
The writing style is heavy on description, which didn’t quite work for me. That said, the story itself was gripping and kept me turning the pages. While it wasn’t entirely my cup of tea, I can see why others would enjoy it.
