Only She Came Back by Margot Harrison
3.5
I don't read a lot of YA thrillers, but this one was pretty good! The story felt unique and interesting, but I really disliked the ending.
I feel like there are a lot of stories out there revolving around a true-crime-obsessed main character getting too involved in a real murder/crime. This story was that but felt fresh and definitely had twists of its own.
The ending felt a little unbelievable to me. Not that it needs to be in fiction, but the events that took place in the last 30 pages felt a bit out of the realm of possibility for how similar to real life this story is.
