OH MY GOD THIS BOOK. i am FULLY OBSESSED. i love this so much. chloe gong's writing is so immersive and engaging, her descriptions of everything and the dialogue too??? it's all so fantastic?? the second chance romance AND enemies to lovers in one?? it. was. PERFECT. the chemistry and the tension they had was so palpable and the moments building up towards what happened at the end... wow. chloe gong also does such a great job of getting you so quickly attached to not just the main characters roma & juliette, but also the side characters like marshall & benedikt (i love them so much they better get together in the sequel) because she writes in 3rd person from all the different perspectives. i was just stunned by how much i loved this book and the characters (except for tyler, fuck you). "do you not listen when i speak? i love you. i have always loved you". UGH ROMA MY HEART <3333 if you like fantasy, you need to read this now!!
