Dick is running KPI every second with everything, no wonder the wife might develop feelings for the other guy. Paola is a freaking goddess or what. Was thinking whether I feel jealous of her multifaceted personality but honestly, being talented is okay, really a great asset, the problem is that the woman has an emotional intelligence of a child. The book is about incredible selfishness and lack of responsibility, that’s it. Annoying, annoying - from the not so very funny jokes to the femme fatale behavior: if you dare to play with two men, better own it.

About the plot: oh, cool, the Chekhov’s gun pointed but it is not the one that went off. Just found it interesting.

I really don’t know whether this novel is part of the ‘grey day laborer’ type of work but surely the whole book could be shortened to a small story. And the effect and impression would have been so different for me
