Here's the thing. I don't think this book is GOOD. It has a lot of problems. The protagonist is able to get her hands into corpses but then gets squeamish about it later on, there is a lot of telling me stuff I'm not really seeing in the characters (e.g. the cousin "using society's rules against society"), the romance is quite lacking, and I knew how the story would end by chapter 3. However, I still liked this book. So there's clearly something here. This was the author's first book so I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt and hoping the series gets better. I am definitely reading at least Book 2.
