4✨ bell hooks was an amazing author and activist and this book is an example of that! She pushes us to see and live from an ethos of love. Oh, how the world would be different if we just lived out of love! That said, while I agreed with most of her points, there are a few places that it was obvious that this book is 25 years old. I note that this book also leans pretty heavily into God and spirituality, as that may not resonate with some people. I’m looking forward to delving even more deeply into her work!
