The adventures of Spensa and M-Bot continue! While this wasn't my favorite of the series, a lot of good things happened. Both Spensa and M-Bot grow and mature a lot in this one, and their banter is always fun. More new characters come into play as once again they are far from home, and as always Sanderson flushes them out enough so that you care about them even though you really want to know what's going on with everyone at home. I think my main issue with this one was just that it feels more like a buildup than a story on its own. I still enjoyed it and look forward to the conclusion coming in Defiant.
