So intriguing/disturbing! I had no idea how insanely controlling Scientology is. Reading about the abuse towards children was particularly harrowing. The writing was just so-so, and even though I agreed with the author and sympathized with her position, she seemed to be incredibly naive and whiny. Otherwise, a fascinating read. I just watched the HBO special on Scientology, and I highly recommend it. It was a great follow up to this read. Aside: Tom Cruise is cray.
