Thank you to Macmillan/Henry Holt for sending me an ARC of this title. I received this copy for free and this review contains my honest opinions.
This was such an excellent read! I really enjoyed the author’s compelling writing style and how she weaved together the range of topics that were forefront in shaping her lived experience. Lee does a wonderful job of reflecting on the intersectionality of the topics she covers and the different lenses that shaped, and continue to shape, her perspective. I highly recommend this memoir, and I will definitely be seeking out more works by this author. Thank you again to the publisher for sending me a free ARC.
