HRC: State Secrets and the Rebirth of Hillary Clinton by Jonathan Allen
4.0
With the election looming - I've been choosing political books to read (or listen to). HRC is well-done and informative. It documents Clinton's career as Secretary of State and it explains the whole Benghazi situation in a way that I could finally understand. It is written in a journalistic style and chock full of details and interviews with Clinton colleagues, supporters, and enemies. Written by Politico's Jonathan Allen and The Hill's Amie Parnes (both political-journalism organizations), it is dense but readable. Clinton fans will appreciate it, but I would recommend to readers who like to learn about candidates on both sides of the aisle.
