So there’s one woman, Chloe, and six cyborgs! Really? I lost count of who was who after three. Jared, Kane and Damon were more than enough. I personally thought this story would have been less confusing without the others.

Chloe was a bit helpless most of the time but she was okay. Her ill thought-out rescue of Damon annoyed me. Could she even shoot a gun? I just think the fact that she’d lived in space with guys all her life would have made her a bit more kickass. Much like the first book, I didn’t really get why her cyborgs loved her other than she was the only human girl they’d ever met.

Anyway they rescue cyborgs and go off in search of a planet where they can also settle. There’s a lot of inner reflection about whether she should join them or not but a HEA in the end.
