learning something new and forgotten

The beginning of the book was a little rough for me. Not a style I normally read (gaslamp romance) and new world so took some time to get my bearings. However a wonderfully rich and evocative read helped me become acquainted with the world. The characters were real, full of sadness and joy. Relationships completely unique onto themselves in their many forms. The end stole my breath away and has me sitting in myself wondering.
