Henry VI, Part 2 by William Shakespeare

3.0

Actual rating: 3.5 stars

Despite act two being almost entirely pointless - bird in the stage directions! a blind man climbing a tree!? - I actually liked this play more than Henry VI part 1. Act five is pretty rad and the queen has some really interesting speeches.
This also has some particularly iconic Shakespeare lines. So, pretty good for being theorized as probably his second or third play!

That being said, I only want to attend this play if they bring the called for hawk on in act two. If Shakespeare used one of his few stage directions on it then dammit I want to see it!!
