Thrill Me by Susan Mallery

Did not finish book. Stopped at 29%.
I think it's time for me to part ways with this author.  I've come across questionable phrases through the last few books but it's been so few and far between that I've looked past it.  I've now come across the second use of the word
transvestite
and this book was published in 2015... maybe this author will learn and do better in the future but I think it's time to admit this series just isn't for me anymore.

Some more examples below in spoiler tags from the book where the characters seem very adament that a relationship can only be between a man and a woman... and the part where that word is used.  I remember it being used in a prior book as well and it was just as jarring then... it was when Sam's past relationships were being discussed.  He had some bad luck with women and someone made the comment that he'll probably end up with a
transvestite
next... it just made me cringe...

None of the below is a spoiler of the plot...

Despite his traveling lifestyle, he was a traditionalist at heart. A one-man, one-woman kind of guy.

“Traditional as in marriage and kids?”  “Traditional as in one man, one woman.”

“These do not work on grass,” she said with a laugh. “In case you had any transvestite tendencies.”
