I bought this book thinking it was about Hungary in post Second World War Europe. And it was! However, it also featured a fantastical element to it that surprised me. It wasn't bad, but definitely was something I was not expecting. I think I personally would have liked it more without the fantasy element, but I can definitely appreciate it for the creativity and extra level of complexity it brings to the table.
