What a fantastic story. Loveable characters, a mystery to be solved, paried with excellent writing and pacing.

This book wasn't just a mystery adventure, it was emotional too because the writing portrayed our characters so well. I loved how we didn't get the generic moody detective being dragged into a crime scene but it was very much like a family involvement. There is depth to the writing and characters, making them come to life.

The story was detailed and very well done. I love the plot twist and even when there was a lot of things happening, it was well paced and explained easily enough to follow along.

Nearing the end, I was tearing up because I loved the characters so much and I didn't want anything to happen to them. The ending was perfect and I don't think I would change anything in this book. Definitely would recommend this to any mystery reader out there. You'll find some memorable characters and an exciting plot to go with it.
