All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker
4.0
All the Colors of the Dark is unlike any novel I have ever read. It is a beautifully written epic literary drama that spans decades. It is a character study that paints a picture of each person, so you feel like you have known them forever. It is a coming-of-age story. It is a thriller about a serial killer. It is a hauntingly beautiful love story. But most of all it is a story about obsession and how it takes over everything. It is at times heart wrenching, but it will also at times make you laugh. And you will never forget the story of Patch and Saint.
