I was had such high hopes when going in to this graphic novel, and it kind of lived up to it. I found the male main character to be a flat character who hasnโ€™t got a lot going for him except for his love for her. Maxi on the other hand is very much an abuse victim, and Iโ€™m really worried she is just liking him because he is nice to her. I kind of ship her and the mageโ€ฆ.

Lots of trigger warnings going in to this novel and I should have read that before hand, because geess!
