I did not see this coming. But fuck me if I didn’t have the best time reading this book. It’s simple: you either can’t get past the prologue, or you do. This was a beautiful mix of filth and romance, and I swooned more times than I have fingers. It’s also the first book I’ve read with a degradation kink where I completely understood the FMC’s desires and fully enjoyed them. I didn’t cringe or roll my eyes once. And my god, that plot twist? Delicious.
