The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J. Maas

3.5

3.5? reading in the purist order so this is my first TOG experience.  but it should be noted that I had read the first sentence of throne of glass so like I kinda knew how this was going to end.  Butttttt like idk.  I got super invested but it was also choppy to ready novellas of characters and a world I don't know. And for each to start and describe the last ones as if you hadn't even read them... I'm most excited for the healer story (Yrene) because that one is the only one that didn't tie into the other really and so I feel like she's going to come back and be fun.

It's heartbreaking. And like also confusing.  fast whiplash.

LOTS OF WHIPLASH!

I switched to audio after starting the third novella because I knew that was the only way I could just binge this and then get into the rest.  I will read the rest of the series hopefully.  But I loved the narrator.

This is rambly but mostly so I can have some of my thoughts recorded somewhere for when I finish the series I guess.
