This is the type of book you can't put down because there is so much suspense, but that desire to read relies on the assumption that the questions will be answered, and I'm just not sure the author did that. We do get a couple of info dumps from mysterious characters, and a pretty predictable ending, but some of the reveals really come out of left field.

Probably would have still gotten four stars from me for the fun of reading it, but ughhhhh, the fatphobia, ughhhh....
