This book drew me in in the first chapter, a well-written novel, full of great metaphors, good characterisation and great love interest (I <3 Locke). Carmack has created a work of art in this book, and if you love fantasy enthralled in power and girl power, you are going to love this book as much as I did. I didn't realise when I started the book that is was apart of a series, and was very shocked at the end, and now I have to wait till JUNE! Sigh!
