I really enjoyed this book. I wasn't sure that I would at the time I added it to my to read stack but it came up at just the right time to lighten the mood and while being very cliche it was fun and had me tittering out loud. I like that it was aliens and not some other overly used and reused mythical creature that has been warped to whatever purpose the author has desired. I think that the main characters mom is a bit absentee just so the story can progress as though she has a parent as opposed to actually being a parent. Overall it was very enjoyable and I look forward to seeing where these books go.
