This was the perfect audiobook honestly. I adore Callie and Garrett’s relationship and they are a prime example of why seconds chance is one of my top favorite tropes to read. I loved that while they had things that tore them apart, they did not end on bad terms which meant that from the moment they saw each other again it was SPARKS and I was eating that up. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this. Garrett’s confidence was slightly off putting to my in the first few chapters but quickly I realized it worked for him somehow and I ended up loving his character. The teacher aspect of this story was also done really well, I thought the showcasing of the connections these two made with this students, wanting what’s best for them was really heart warming. Just a great read I did not want to put it down.
