This one was way better than the previous one. I think its mainly because theyre not in high school anymore. I wish we’d learned more about Sabrina in the last book.. but I wound up really liking her and Murphy together.

The random death of the teammate just felt a little out of nowhere for me… It was … i dunno— a bit there for shock value it felt like? It didnt really have much to do with the couple in general, or even the extended friend group.. it was just sad for no reason it felt like. Thats the big reason I took one star off.

Other than that, I thought the book was great if youre looking for a sweet, low-angst, found family college football romance. I enjoy the banter between everyone in their friends group and im really anxious to find out what happens with Annabelle and Declan. I hope Declan goes after her and its not like.. a whole back and forth thing.

Maybe Im just really into OTTJP heroes and i need to chill out
