I enjoyed this guide, this blueprint of Nia’s search for the one. Nia is a submissive searching for her dominant. She’s on various apps to meet men and I guess key words in your description let others know your in the lifestyle. However, although she is meeting men who say they are dominant they are fakes or imposters. So as she searches for the one man who can be her true dominant, her work life is in an upheaval. Her boss has just been indicted for money laundering and her new boss Rome is what she imagines a Dom would look and act like. This book has very funny moments when she is discussing her life with her friends or when she’s writing in her diary. I know the search for the one is hard and difficult and a lot of frogs need to be kissed before finding your prince. Nia’s experiences are funny and sad but so accurate in this day and age. I love the multicultural characters with a Latina vice president and a black woman manager. It’s great to read a book with diverse characters which mirror our world. The story between Rome and Nia is an interesting one because although you may have found the one, they might not be ready to be your one. Rome’s previous history has made him very guarded with his heart. I enjoyed the book’s discussion on the lifestyle and it seemed to give a very realistic perspective of the Dom/sub relationship and not a glossed over view as some books do. My first book by WS Greer was certainly enjoyable and I would enjoy reading another book by him.
