Legendary by Stephanie Garber

5.0

'Every story has four parts- the beginning , the middle, the almost ending, and the true ending.'

okay so...

I was NOT ready for the unexpected turn it took in the end.

After finishing the book I tried my best not to make any abnormal fan girl noises, 'cause my family would have thought I have gone completely crazy. But first, I want to thank Stephanie Garber for creating this amazing world and characters. I absolutely love them.

Synopsis of the story
Tella had made a deal with a mysterious friend so that she and her sister Scarlett could evade her cruel and torturous father. Bu now it was her turn to return the favor. In return for his help, Tella is supposed to bring him the name of one and only Master of Caraval aka Legend.

the only way she can retrieve his name is by playing his game and winning so that she could wish for it. Lucky for her as Caraval is being held for the second this year. As Tella plays the game, she is warned that this time the game is very much real and whatever happens cannot be reverted. But all she wants is is to free hr mother and pay off the debt she owes her 'friend', If she wants to get her mother back and save her life that has been cursed by the Prince of hearts she would require more than just Legend's name.

This book is just amazing. All the unexpected turn had me on the edge.

'So,' she said cautiously, 'is it your way of telling me you're the villain?' his chuckle was dark 'I'm definitely not the hero.' 'I already knew that,' Tella said it's my story so I'm the HERO'

I can not express my love for Tella. She is the kind who would cross every limit if it meant she could protect the ones she loves. She is so brave that is almost inspiring. Even after her mother abandoned her and Scarlett, she was determined to find and get the answers to the questions that were left unanswered when their mother left.
