Banner and Jared have always had an attraction to each other. They had a night together in college, but something happened, and Banner avoided Jared into their adult years like the plague. Until one night where Jared reminded Banner what it felt like to be with him.

Their push and pull were constant throughout this book. It was a lot, and Jared took things without thinking of the consequences for Banner. I didn't like that about him, nor did I like the choices of Banner with her boyfriend. Her choice took me out of the story for a while, but in the end, it was apparent that Jared and Banner really do love each other. I just didn't particularly care how they got there. But just like in real life, relationships can be messy, and this one was definitely that.
