“Idealism without consequences is the pathetic dream of every spoiled brat”
It’s been a few days, and I miss Eileen. I want to know what she did after that fateful Christmas night. I liked her because she was an unlikeable mess. I enjoyed wallowing with her and rolling my eyes at her when it went too far. This is the kind of joyless holiday story I might need to reread every Christmas. 😂
